During my summer holidays I visited the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea. They had an installation shot called 'From selfie to self expression' which I found interesting.

Jean Pigozzi took selfies with celebrities in a continuing series since his college days.

She Juno Calypso - The Honeymoon Suite 2015
She began her self-portraits in 2011, but from a young age had taken pictures of herself in private. She took pictures of herself while the hosts were asleep. She staged herself as a fictional character named 'Joyce'. Joyce showed the private underlife of a woman consumed by the laboured construct of femininity, carried out to the point of ritualised absurdity. |
Victor Obsatz
Portrait of Marcel Duchamp The double exposure is a result of Obsatz's camera not advancing properly however Duchamp liked the juxtaposition of his smiling features with his iconic profile portrait which I found very interesting as double exposure to this day is used in a lot of photos. |
